The passion of the Music Ministry of Sunset Hills is to disciple our choir members and our congregation in praise and worship so they can be a better and more effective witness in today’s culture.
     Music has the unique ability to have an affect on the whole person - heart, mind, soul, and spirit.  John 4:23-24 tells us that God’s greatest desire is for His people to worship Him in Spirit and in Truth.
     Unfortunately, when most people talk about worship or worship style, they usually talk in terms of the type of music used in worship services. Worship can be defined as the activity whereby those whose lives have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus can express their love and offer thanksgiving and praise to God in response to His revelation of Himself to them.
     Music ministers to us in times of joy as well as in times of sorrow.  It also enriches our fellowship as we corporately join our hearts in praise and adoration as an expression of love for our Living Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
     God has blessed our church with many people who use their God-given gifts to lift God’s name in praise.  We would love to have you as part of the Music Ministry of Sunset Hills Baptist Church. We meet in our Choir Room on Wednesday nights at 8:00 PM to prepare for Sunday worship. Please come and join us!
